According to the article, U.S. families affected by unemployment has gone up 33 percent. Nevada, California, Hawaii have an even higher percentage. Households with children under 18 where at least one parent is unemployed rose from 2.4 million to 3.2 million. Economic well-being worsened for families with children, home ownership has declined, and the food stamp receipt increased.
Obviously this isn't good for our country, it's pretty self explanatory. This shows that the recession isn't getting any better and it's gradually getting worse. More and more people are forced to rely on the government for food stamps. It's really upsetting.
